The first workshop on the study of atmospheric rivers in Antarctica was held on June 27 and 18, 2022 at the Institute of Environmental Geosciences (IGE) on the campus of the University of Grenoble Alpes https://polar-ars.sciencesconf.org/

The objective of this workshop was to review the current state of knowledge about atmospheric rivers in Antarctica, to promote discussion and to explore future collaborations. Researchers of different nationalities (France, Belgium, Switzerland, USA, Portugal, Chile, New Zealand, Australia) participated in this workshop.

Due to the interest shown by all at this event, a second workshop is planned for 2023. The University of Boulder-Colorado could be the venue for this meeting. See you next year ?
